my name is Jean Fisher I'm the president of the board of directors for the Watts Learning Center Foundation and founder of the school what I love about this school is the opportunity to make a difference in a community that basically have been under resource for such a very long time and committed stay committed board had a committed community set make a difference as what I love this a attitude of the people the potential for the people and the outcomes and we've already shared it is absolutely exhilarating to see the what can be done with the potential that we have in a so far had been neglected one of the founders of the Watts Learning Center charter school I started this journey more than 20 years ago after I had retired from the school District at the principal and it has been a wonderful journey and this comes from my heart what I'm doing for the children and for the families the families are so important and involving them in the education of their children is something that we feel is very important
