Parents in Action
At Watts Learning Center we encourage all parents to take an active role in their student's education and get involved in the school community and activities. Your participation fosters your child’s consideration and care for our joint efforts to cultivate healthy and prepared minds for high school. The success of our school community depends upon the collaboration, commitment, and involvement of parents, students, teachers, and community members.
It is strongly encouraged that parents volunteer 25 hours per school year. We know student performance increases when families get involved.
This can be done in a variety of ways virtually via ZOOM meeting opportunities:
Attend Parent Meetings & Workshops
Join Parent Committees
Become a Grade Level Parent Leader (organize materials at home)
Donate classroom materials
