I graduated from CSULB with a degree in World History and teaching credentials. History is my passion and joy. I became an educator because I have a drive to mentor, support, and empower young people. When I was a student myself not every educator treated me in a way that made me feel valued or see my own potential and so I myself always strive to be that teacher that makes all of my students and their families feel respected and find their own voice. I am committed as an educator towards social justice and building a true learning community. For the upcoming school year, I hope to accomplish that goal of building community, helping our students thrive and succeed, and also having real fun every day as best as possible. Teachers are people too!
