Short Bio

My name is LaToya Parsee. I have been teaching at Watts Learning Charter Center Middle School for the last 5 years.  I love numbers and making learning math fun.  I  use hand on and real-life experience in my teaching approach.  In my free time I like to travel, participate in community service and socialize with my sorority sister of the great Sorority Zeta Phi Beta.  I am a Los Angeles native who grew up in Watts, California as a child later moved to West Los Angeles . Teaching at Watts Learning Charter Center is another form of my community service by allowing me to teach in my own community.  I attended and graduated at California State University of Dominguez hills with a Bachelor degree in African American studies and Mathematics .  I received my teaching Credential and Master Degree from the University of Phoenix. My #1 goal is to teach students strategies to solve math problems in real life situations.  I love my student as if they were my own…
